Hospitals:
All of the doctors are on staff at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. If you are planning on delivering at any other hospital, we can help you find a good pediatrician to care for the baby during the hospital stay and assume your child’s care upon discharge.
Emergency Rooms:
Sometimes a situation will arise after hours when a patient will need to be seen as opposed to just receiving phone advice. If you think minutes will make a difference, or the situation appears life-threatening, please call 911. If not, always call the office first and the on-call doctor will help you form a plan of action, which might include a visit to an urgent care center or an emergency room. Our primary hospital is the Providence Tarzana Medical Center on Clark Street just south of Burbank and east of Reseda. They have an excellent emergency room and good pediatric in-hospital care if needed, so we suggest Tarzana for the most urgent cases.
