Top Pediatrician Encino, CA
About Us
Searching for a top pediatrician in Encino, CA? Welcome to Balboa Pediatrics, caring for children from birth through young adulthood — and we take that responsibility seriously. Our board-certified physicians look at the whole picture: not just what's happening in the exam room, but everything that shapes a child's health and development. Family life, friendships, school, nutrition, activities — it all matters to us.
Every family at our practice has one dedicated pediatrician — your doctor, your child's doctor. That relationship builds over time into something that's hard to put a price on: real trust. Your pediatrician will personally handle most visits and calls, backed by a team that knows your family by name. Many of our staff have been here for over a decade. We think that says something.
We're grateful to every family who has let us be part of their child's life!

Services
Child Behavior
Balboa Pediatrics' website includes many resources to help you navigate behavioral and mental health concerns. Our
Child Behavior information page includes peer-reviewed, fact-based medical content, parenting advice, and other information regarding behavioral concerns and development. If you have questions regarding your child's mental or behavioral health, consider our parent resources as your first stop. And never hesitate to reach out to us for support and guidance.
Is Your Child Sick?
Not sure if that runny nose requires a trip to the pediatrician or just some downtime? Balboa Pediatrics offers a convenient, online resource for those times when you’re not sure if it's just a sniffle or your child needs to be seen by our pediatric staff. Our
“Is Your Child Sick?” tool can be used at home to learn about common health concerns and home remedies. As always, if you need to reach us, we're just a phone call away!
Telehealth
Telehealth, or a virtual visit, allows your child to consult with their regular pediatrician via video conferencing, offering a convenient option without needing to visit the office. It is suitable for many acute care concerns such as rashes, pinkeye (in children over 2 without fever), colds, some fevers, allergies, mild croup, constipation, diarrhea, vomiting, and minor traumas like lacerations or bites. Telehealth is also available for behavioral and mental health evaluations and follow-ups. However, it is not appropriate for conditions requiring a physical exam, such as evaluating ear pain, significant coughs, or issues needing lab tests like urinary tract infections, strep, or flu.
Our Pediatricians

From routine wellness visits to more complex concerns, our physicians and care team bring personalized, evidence-based care to every stage of childhood — always with the whole child in mind, and the family around them.
