Dear Families of Our Patients,
We hope this message finds you well and healthy. We are writing to inform you about some changes to our annual fees that will take effect on January 1, 2024. These fees are necessary to support the extra staff and services that we offer to ensure the best possible care for you and your children. As always, we are working hard to provide a full spectrum of services, some of which are not covered by insurance as part of traditional medical visits. These include faxing and filling out forms, handling prescription refills, maintaining medical records, completing authorizations, and phone calls and written communication with the providers. In addition, we reserve same day sick appointments in our schedule daily to accommodate our patients as well as curbside testing and vaccine clinics for your convenience.
The fee will be paid to our corporation, Bruckner Krasnoff Lederer Marshall Sevran Chan Inc., and will be required for all of our patients. The amount of the fee depends on who your primary doctor is and the number of children you have. For most doctors, the fee is $100 per child with a maximum of $200 per family. For Dr. Daniel Bruckner, the fee is $500 for your first child, $250 for each additional child, with a maximum of $1,000 per family. These amounts remain unchanged from 2023, however, due to the increasing demand and complexity of these services, the corporation decided to make this fee mandatory for all our patients starting in 2024. This fee will be due every year on the date of the original payment, and it will be automatically charged to your account. This fee will not be billed to or covered by your insurance, though an FSA policy may cover this fee.
We understand that this change may be difficult for some families. We value your relationship with us and we do not want this fee to be a barrier to your access to quality health care. If you have any concerns or questions, please talk to your doctor. We will work with you to find a solution that suits your needs and budget.
